Self Portrait in Case Art

On my desk

One of the most interesting projects I have done, The Grump Case was designed to be quiet and powerful, as well as handsome (just like me). I posted a worklog of its progress on one of my favorite website forums, GideonTech. The side panel is 3 layers of acrylic behind an aluminuminuminum case door. The body color and texture is powder coating with spray painted accents and polished aluminuminuminum trim.

As with my other mods, I like to have matching accessories. The keyboard, a TrueTouch by Manhattan, was the perfect shape and size. I never found much use for number pads anyway. I wrote a worklog on this mod on the NWMods Forum. It was a very simple mod, only requiring a high gloss paint job and some vinyl dye for the special function buttons.

I will post more pictures and information about The Grump Case. For now, you might be interested in the small worklog (but loaded with pictures) I have on the side panel. It's posted on my favorite website forum, CaseModGod.com.
